DMAX Saving Midwest Manufacturer Over $44,000 Annually
The impregnation wastewater from a mid-western manufacturing facility was a huge burden to the plant. The plant generates about 1000 gallons per week of wastewater, which the city would not accept so it had to be shipped off-site. This required a large amount of unproductive personnel time and added substantial operating costs for drumming and shipping of the waste. The direct cost for disposal exceeded $0.20 per gallon.

DMax provided instant relief. |
DMax treated the waste water and made it so clean that it could be reused in the plant. Weekly impreg waste was reduced from over 20 drums to about 100 pounds filter cake that was disposed of in the plant dumpster. DMax reduced the direct treatment costs to less than $0.06 per gallon using one non-hazardous dry chemical and compact, fully automatic equipment. Plant personnel could return to productive work. Finally impregnation quality improved because the rinse water tank is kept cleaner.
